Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk, P.A.'s law firm is committed to the arts, and is privileged to celebrate the rich cultural and artistic traditions of the Southwest by acquiring and displaying art that represents their region. Founded in 1937, their art collection is integral to the tradition of the firm and support of the arts.
One of the firm's founders, Dick Modrall, was a cowboy rancher turned lawyer and appreciated western art. In the 1950s, his wife, Connie Modrall, founded the Western Art Gallery in Albuquerque. This gallery became well-known for its diverse collection of outstanding New American and other western artists. Throughout the years, artworks from the Modrall family's collection have been showcased in the Modrall firm and recently, the firm has acquired a significant proportion of the family's collection.
